I sought the blessed Redeemer

Author: Harriet E. Jones
Tune: [I sought the blessed Redeemer]
Published in 1 hymnal

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 I sought the blessed Redeemer,
Thro’ crowds I pressed my way;
I touched the hem of His garment,
And I am whole today.

Refrain:
My faith has made me whole,
And sin has lost control.
I touched the hem of His garment,
There’s glory in my soul!

2 O come to Jesus, the Saviour,
All ye who need a cure;
He waits this moment to bless you,
To save and make you pure. [Refrain]

3 O come to Jesus, believing,
On Him your burdens roll;
The One so ready to cleanse you,
Will fill with joy your soul. [Refrain]

4 O come to Jesus, the Healer,
The Life, the Truth, the Way;
Come, touch the hem of His garment,
Be cleansed and saved today! [Refrain]
