Representative Text

1 I once was burdened with my sin,
But now in Christ I’m trusting;
I feel his joy and peace within,
Since in his love I’m trusting.

Refrain:
Trusting in Jesus ev’ry day,
Trusting in Jesus all the way;
Trusting in him, my Saviour and friend,
Trusting in Jesus unto life’s end.

2 The cares of earth have made me sad,
But now in Christ I’m trusting;
His presence with me makes me glad,
Since in his peace I’m trusting. [Refrain]

3 Once fear of death filled me with gloom,
But now in Christ I’m trusting;
There is no shadow in the tomb,
Since in his pow’r I’m trusting. [Refrain]

4 I weary walked along life’s way,
But now in Christ I’m trusting;
I gain fresh courage ev’ry day,
Since in his grace I’m trusting. [Refrain]
