Representative Text

1 I have a Friend who abides in my heart,
O, what a wonderful Savior!
I cannot live from His presence apart,
O, what a wonderful Savior!

Chorus:
O, what a wonderful Savior is He,
Wonder of wonders that He should love me!
Some day His glorious face I shall see
O, what a wonderful Savior!

2 Never a foe that His eye cannot see,
O, what a wonderful Savior!
Never a moment that He forgets me,
O, what a wonderful Savior! [Chorus]

3 He will the vilest of sinners forgive,
O, what a wonderful Savior!
No heart so dead but His touch can make live,
O, what a wonderful Savior! [Chorus]

4 There is a home at the end of life’s way,
O, what a wonderful Savior!
Where in His presence forever I'll stay,
O, what a wonderful Savior! [Chorus]
