Ritter, Fanny Malone, née Raymond, born in 1840, and died in 1890. She was the wife of Dr. Frederic Louis Hitter, and was known as a writer on musical subjects, and as a public singer in New York. Her publications include Woman as Musician, 1877; Some Famous Songs, 1878; Songs and Ballads, 1887; and some translations from the German. [Rev. L. F. Benson, D.D.]
