Author: Iain D. Cunningham (b. 1954)

I am a Church of Scotland Minister, ordained in 1979, currently minister of Kirkton Church, Carluke. I was born in Port Glasgow but moved to Lanarkshire when I was 11 years old. Having been a pupil at Hamilton Academy, from 1966 to 1972, I studied English and Drama at Glasgow University before receiving a call to ministry. I remained at Glasgow University to complete a BD degree and was ordained by Ayr Presbytery in 1979. I have served as a Parish Minister, first of all at Duntocher Trinity Church, from 1980 to 1987 and then from 1987 to the present day at Kirkton Church Carluke. I have also served on several central church councils and committees, most recently as Convener of the Church of Scotland's World Mission Council, from 2014-2018.… Go to person page >
