Praise

Representative Text

1 God formed our bodies from dust of the ground, Power grand!
And ev'ry breath that we breath here is found in, Yes, in His hand;
He rules the nation and giveth the crown, might and fame,
Setting up rulers and taking them down; let us praise His Name!

Refrain:
Praise Him, praise Him, all that hath breath here to sing,
Serve Him, serve Him, unto His name honor bring;
Honor, honor, let the glad anthems now ring!
Worship, adore Him; come bown down before Him, come praise His name!

2 Wicked men, just like the great, "green, bay tree," seem to grow,
But we all know this shall not always be; God, Yes, God wills so;
Honor and praise for His judgments are sure, firm His throne,
And all His righteousness shall e'er endure, praise His name alone! [Refrain]
