1 دعوتُ الرب من حزني
فلَبّى بالرَّحبِ
وعوني الرب بل حصني
فلا يخشى قلبي

2 تُرى ما يصنع الناسُ
وربي لي عونُ
بأعدائي يُرى الباسُ
ولي منهم صونُ

3 رجاءُ الرب لي أصلحْ
من ابنِ الإنسانِ
وإمساكي به يَرجَحُ
على ذي السلطانِ

4 دُفِعتُ اليوم كي أسقطْ
ونجاني ربي
وقوّاني فلا أهبُطْ
إلى عُمق الجبِّ

5 يمينُ الرب لي ترفعْ
إلى مجدِ الفادي
يمينُ الرب لي تصنعْ
قُوى الروح الهادي

6 لقد أدَّبَني المُغني
بتأديبِ الحبسِ
ولكنْ لم يسلّمني
إلى موتِ النفسِ

Nasif al-Yaziji (March 25, 1800 – February 8, 1871) was a Lebanese author at the times of the Ottoman Empire and father of Ibrahim al-Yaziji. He was one of the leading figures in the Nahda movement.
