Confío en Jesucristo

Representative Text

1 Confío yo en Cristo
Que en una cruz murió;
Por esa muerte limpio
De culpas quedo yo.
Con sangre tan preciosa
Me lava el Redentor:
La derramó copiosa
Por mí el buen Salvador.

2 Me cubre su justicia
De plena perfección,
Jesús es mi delicia;
Jesús, mi salvación.
Oh Cristo!, en Ti descanso,
Reposo me darás;
Seguro voy marchando
Al cielo donde estás.

3 A disfrutar me invitas
Contigo, mi Señor,
Delicias infinitas
Y celestial amor,
Espero yo mirarte,
Oir tu dulce voz;
Espero yo cantarte:
¡Mi Salvador, mi Dios!

In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact. Obviously, the hymns attributed to "Author Unknown" "Unknown" or "Anonymous" could have been written by many people over a span of many centuries. Go to person page >
