Representative Text

1 Come, O come with harp and timbrel,
Strike with joy the sounding cymbal,
Chant the praises of the Lord!
Praise Him for His love enfolding,
Praise Him for His wise withholding,
Praise Him for His blessed Word,
Praise Him for His blessed Word!

Refrain:
Shouting glad hosannas,
We march along our way,
Lifting high His banners,
On this triumphant day!
“In His name we conquer,”
Let this our watchword be,
Praising Christ our Saviour
Thro’ all eternity.

2 Flow’rs around us now are springing,
On our path gay blossoms flinging,
Borne on gentle summer breeze!
Birds their carols sweetly trilling,
Ev’ry heart with rapture filling,
Praise resounds from all the trees,
Praise resounds from all the trees. [Refrain]

3 Praise Him for His great salvation,
Full and free for ev’ry nation,
Worship Him in notes of praise!
Praise Him for His Spirit given,
Teaching us the way to heaven,
Worship Him thro’ endless days,
Worship Him thro’ endless days! [Refrain]
