Consecration Prayer

Representative Text

1. Come Holy Spirit, gift divine,
Come dwell within this heart of mine;
Teach me the truths that I should know,
And lead in paths where I should go.

2. Oh, make me pure and clean within!
Thy temple cleansed and free from sin
That I may kind and gentle be,
Come quickly and abide with me.

3. Not for a moment, hour, nor day,
And then to take thy flight away;
But may my heart forever be,
A welcome dwelling place for thee.
