Representative Text

1 Christ, my Savior, so dear to me,
Who shall separate me from Thee?
Draw me nearer Thee day by day,
Never from Thee will I stray.

Refrain:
Never, never,
Never from Thee will I stray.
Never, never,
Never from Thee will I stray.

2 Peace and pardon Thou grantest me,
Full salvation by faith in Thee,
Grace sufficient for ev’ry day,
Never from Thee will I stray. [Refrain]

3 Friendship holy, communion sweet,
Lessons learned at Thy blessed feet,
Comfort me on my pilgrim way,
Never from Thee will I stray. [Refrain]

4 When my spirit shall see afar
Gates of glory for me ajar,
When I dwell in eternal day,
Never from Thee will I stray. [Refrain]
