My Bible Tells Me So

Representative Text

1 Christ loved little children,
While on earth below;
And I often wonder,
If he loves them now,
Yes, he loves them well, I know,
For my Bible tells me so.

2 Men, to be converted,
Jesus says must be
As the little children
In humility.
And he loves them still, I know,
For my Bible tells me so.

3 Children praised the Savior,
When on earth he stood;
They shall sing his praises,
Round the throne of God.
He will own them there, I know,
For my Bible tells me so.

4 If the little children
Strive to do his will,
Christ, the Lord, will ever
Love and bless them still.
Love them ever, this I know,
For my Bible tells me so.
