Jesus Is the One

Brother, if a friend you need, Jesus is the One

Author: James Rowe
Tune: [Brother, if a friend you need]
Published in 2 hymnals

Audio files: MIDI

Representative Text

1 Brother, if a friend you need,
Jesus is the One;
He will be a friend indeed,
Jesus is the One;
Every burden he will share,
Every trouble, every care;
Naught alone he’ll let you bear,
Jesus is the One.

Refrain:
Jesus is the One,
Jesus is the One;
Every burden he will share;
Jesus is the One.

2 Brother, if you need a guide,
Jesus is the One;
He will never leave your side;
Jesus is the One;
Closer than a brother he
Ever to your soul will be,
Keeping you from danger free,
Jesus is the One. [Refrain]

3 If a Savior you would find,
Jesus is the One;
Ever faithful, ever kind,
Jesus is the One;
He from death will rescue you
And your famished soul renew;
If you need a Savior true,
Jesus is the One. [Refrain]
