1 Blessed Jesus, hear Thy children
At the close of this glad day;
Ere we part from one another,
Ere we homeward take our way.
Let Thy Heav’nly Benediction
Fall upon us peacefully;
And to Thee we’ll give the glory,

Be Thou e’er our stay in strife.
And when life’s long day is ended,
And the journey is complete;
May we dwell in Heav’n forever,
Resting at the Saviour’s feet,
Resting at the Saviour’s feet.
