Representative Text

1 At the feet of Jesus waiting,
I have heard his sweet command:
“Go and work within my vineyard,
Labor with thy heart and hand.”

Refrain:
I am waiting, I am waiting,
Waiting now to do his will;
Waiting now to bear the message,
And my calling to fulfill.

2 At the feet of Jesus waiting,
Doing what he bids me do,
Toiling, suff’ring, and enduring,
For his grace will bear me through. [Refrain]

3 At the feet of Jesus waiting,
Laying ev’ry burden down,
Leaving all the world can give me,
For a bright and glorious crown! [Refrain]

4 At the feet of Jesus waiting,
May I ever there be found;
Proving by my faithful service,
Christ in me to all around. [Refrain]
