Representative Text

1 As we are parting,
May God go with you,
Give you His comfort,
Make His promise true.

2 Often before Him
Our souls shall meet,
In sweet communion
At the mercy seat.

3 God grant His glory
Through us may shine,
Loving reflection
Of the life divine.

4 If on the morrow
Dangers shall come,
May guardian angels
Camp round about your home.

5 Safe in the shelter,
When storms betide you,
Under His strong wings
Close may He hide you.

6 Now, peace go with you,
In joy or pain,
And, in His temple,
May we meet again.
