All thanks to the Lamb, Who gives us to meet. C. Wesley. [Christian Fellowship.] First published in his Hymns and Sacred Poems, 1749, vol. ii., No. 238, in 7 stanzas of 4 lines; from thence it passed into the Wesleyan Hymn Book in 1780, in full; but in the revised ed., 1875, the last stanza is omitted. It is given in most of the collections of the Methodist bodies, but is rarely found in other hymnbooks. Original text in Poetical Works, 1868-72, vol. v. p. 468.
