Representative Text

1 All must at length be tried,
The dead from dust arise;
Nor one of all earth’s millions hide
From Christ’s all seeing eyes.

2 How will the faithless meet
The terrors of that day,
When Heav’n and earth before His seat,
Astonished shrink away?

3 O sinner, seek His face
Whose wrath you cannot bear;
Welcome His yoke, accept His grace,
And find salvation there.

4 So will you bless the hour,
When for your sake He bled;
And that last awful day shall pour
New blessings on your head.
