All hail, triumphant Lord. [Ascension]. Appeared in the Salisbury Hymn Book, 1857, No. 100, in 3 stanzas of 6 lines; the New Congregational Hymn Book, 1859, Barry's Psalms & Hymns, 1868, theN. Zealand Hymnal, 1872, and others; but always without signature. It is evidently based upon C. Wesley's hymn for the Ascension, "God is gone up on high" (q.v.). Its authorship is unknown.
