This setting of VRUECHTEN begins with a festiva flourish of organ pedal and fanfares. Congregation and choir sing the first stanza in unison. The choir sings the second stanza, which elaborates on the text. This is followed by an interlude that leads into a triumphant third stanza for choir, congregation, optional brass, and S/T descant.
