Wagner has created this brilliant marriage of the traditional plainchant melody popularly known as "Of the Father's Love Begotten" with the beloved Christmas text "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming." It flows quite naturally into "O Little Town of Bethlehem," which appears with the FOREST GREEN carol tune. The optional orchestration adds a magical touch.
