Evensong is quiet in nature and uncomplicated in texture. Technically simple, harmonically lush. Commissioned by Raymond and Elizabeth Chenault, Evensong was premiered in May of 1987 at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. It has since been performed throughout U.S.

Based on two evening hymns, TALLIS' CANON (Welsh) and AR HYD Y NOS. Sold 2 copies per unit.
