Morgan Williams

b. 1892 Author of "I am happy, O so happy" in Signal Bells Morgan Williams was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on January 30. 1892. He was ordained a minister of the gospel in the Christian Church on April 14, 1923. In his early 30s, Morgan went blind, but his ministry of preaching and writing the lyrics to gospel songs continued until his death in the early 1960s. His early work was often bought and published by the gospel music companies in Nashville, Tennessee. Janet Sparkman (daughter)
