To our Heav’nly Father Sweetest songs we’ll raise. For his loving kindness, For his tender care, Let our songs of gladness Fill this Sabbath air. 2. Praise him for his mercy; Praise him for his love. For unnumbered blessings Praise the Lord above. Let our happy voices Still the notes prolong. One alone is worthy Of our sweetest song. 3. Jesus, our Redeemer, Now our praises hear. While we bow before thee, Lend a list’ning ear. Save us, Lord, from error. Watch us day by day. Help us now to serve thee In a pleasing way. My Child is a Flower

Author: Daniel Charles Damon Hymnal: New Hymns of Hope #161 Meter: 6.5.6.5 D Lyrics: 1 My child is a flower, a joy to be shared. My child has been labeled "severely impaired." I have no instructions but nurture and care. Come see, in my garden, a flower so rare. 2 My child has emotions, a will, and a name. The needs of God's children are always the same: to live to the fullest, their own work of art, with faith and forgiveness, deep gifts of the heart. 3 A child, when supported by wisdom and grace, can teach many lessons, can love and embrace. So nurture the body, the spirit, the mind, and trust that our Maker is loving and kind. 4 Our goal is not safety, our goal is to live, to touch one another with love as we give. Come celebrate with me and learn something new. This flower is blooming for me and for you. Topics: Children Scripture: Matthew 19:13-15 Languages: Chinese; English Tune Title: NOT BROKEN

Glory be to Jesus

Author: Edward Caswall Hymnal: The Hymnal #162 (1916) Meter: 6.5.6.5 D Lyrics: Glory be to Jesus, Who in bitter pains Poured for me the life-blood From his sacred veins! Grace and life eternal In that blood I find, Blest be his compassion Infinitely kind! Blest through endless ages Be the precious stream, Which from sin and sorrow Doth the world redeem! Abel's blood for vengeance Pleaded to the skies; But the blood of Jesus For our pardon cries. Oft as earth exulting Wafts its praise on high Angel hosts, rejoicing, Make their glad reply. Lift ye then your voices; Swell the mighty flood; Louder still and louder Praise the precious blood. Amen.
