Her works in poetry and prose are well and widely known. Her hymn published in 1860, "Father above, I pray to Thee" (Child's Evening Hymn), is in several hymn-books, including Martineau's Hymns, &c, 1873. --John Julian, Dictionary of Hymnology, Appendix, Part II (1907) ================== Cook, Eliza, p. 1558, i.
