Birth Year: 1927

Helen L. Wright (b. 1927) wrote the refrain for the Psalter Task Force of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), for which she served as chair. A native of Baltic, Ohio, Helen Wright is a graduate of the College of Wooster with a B.A. degree in English. For some years she served as treasurer and bookkeeper for her husband's medical corporation. She is an organist for the Presbyterian Church of Coshocton, Ohio, a position she has held for twenty-four years. Wright served on the Advisory Council for discipleship and worship of the United Presbyterian Church U.S.A. prior to the reunion of 1983.
