Rv Wilbur Fisk Crafts AM PhD USA 1850-1922. Born in Fryeburg, ME, the son of a minister, he attended Weslyan University, CT, Boston University, MA,1871, and Marietta College, OH, 1886. He married Sara Jane Timanus. He served as pastor of Methodist Episcopal, Congregational, and Presbyterian churches, and was prominent in the temperance and prohibition movements. He promoted Sunday school education. He founded, and for 28 years was Superintendent of the International Reform Bureau. He authored a number of books, other works, and some hymn lyrics. He wrote on a wide variety of subjects, mostly religious. He died in Washington, D.C. of pneumonia.
