Roger Copeland

Born: March 16, 1942, Maud, Ok­la­ho­ma.

Copeland was ed­u­cat­ed at Ok­la­ho­ma Bap­tist Un­i­ver­si­ty (BA) and South­west­ern Bap­tist The­o­lo­gi­cal Sem­i­na­ry (MRE). He served as min­is­ter of mu­sic and youth at a num­ber of South­ern Bap­tist con­gre­ga­tions in Tex­as and Ok­la­ho­ma, and, start­ing in 1970, at the Belle­vue Bap­tist Church in Hurst, Tex­as. He is the au­thor of at least 50 hymns and tunes.
