Lyman Abbot D.D. (New York University 1877) Congregationalist; Born in Roxbury Mass, Dec 18, 1835. Graduated at the University of New York City 1853, and studied law. After a brief practice in the legal profession he entered the ministry and was pastor of the Congregational Church at Terre Haute, Ind 1860-65. Also served as pastor in New York and pastored Plymouth Church in Brooklyn.
