Trying to find what Hymnal this is

You are here

I have photocopies of pages from a hymnal, likely printed by the Eureka Publishing Co., around 1911 or so. The copyrights that appear on the few pages I have that have one are from 1911 and 1912.

Yes, I know, not a lot to go on. I have checked the Eureka hymnals here, and none of the songs I have, except for one, are listed in them. The one song listed has the lyricst but not the composer, so I need to see about trying to verify it is the same hymn and adding the composer info if it is. Who knew a little pile of photocopies from my grandmother would be so much trouble to track down?

I searched WorldCat (OCLC) using Eureka as publisher name and publication dates 1911-1915. I found 4 titles:

1. The Gospel of Christ in song /
Author: Slater, Will W. Publication: Little Rock, Ark. : Christian Pilot Pub. Co. ; Stigler, Okla. : Eureka Pub. Co., 1914

2. Eureka star : an excellent collection of sacred songs suitable for all Christian work and worship /
Author: Powell, R. L. Publication: Stigler, OK : Eureka, 1913

3. For the Freedom of Britain's Shore ... Song, written & composed by G. Sutheran, etc.
Author: Sutheran, George. Publication: London : Eureka Publishing Co, 1914

4. Eureka sacred banner : an unexcelled collection of sacred songs to be used in the church, Sunday school, revival, singing convention, singing class and the home circle /
Author: Powell, R. L. Publication: Seymour, Tex. : Eureka, 1914

Thank you! I've been looking at Eureka Star and Eureka Sacred Banner quite a bit, but not finding all of them. One piece at a time, I suppose.
