Use [sic] if something is clearly wrong in the hymn instance?

I have a misspelling of an author's name in the hymn instance - should I put [sic] afterwards or not worry about it? -Eric

Don't worry about it, just put it in as it appears in the hymnal, i.e. incorrectly. It will be correct in the authority record.
