Cannot find the correct tune for the subject of this forum. I gained some info and the tune name is CHADWICK, but the hymnary doesn’t seem to contain the title that matches the tune. If someone could find the hymn and hymn number that’d be great!
There's a different tune which has the first line “…mine own” instead of “…my own”, which might also be the one you're thinking of. https://hymnary.org/hymn/SGHC1920/page/85 (St. Gregory Hymnal, 1920)
The meter is 7.7.7.7, so you *could* sing it to any of quite a few (at least 682) other tunes, including GLORIA/IRIS (used in the US for “Angels we have heard on high” and in the UK for “Shepherds in the field abiding” as well as “'Angels from the realms of glory” (which in the US is usually sung to REGENT SQUARE). https://hymnary.org/tunes?qu=%20meter%3A7.7.7.7%20in%3Atunes

This *may* be the tune you mean
I don't know if it's called CHADWICK, but it's got the right first line of lyrics: https://hymnary.org/hymn/ACH1913/page/258 (American Catholic Hymnal, 1913)
