I understand that this hymnal was created to include Rob Atkins' hymn "If We Could Speak/1 Corinthians 13 Hymn" onto Hymnary and subsequently Flexscore, but it would be nice to do something with this hymnal for Hymnary user-writ songs and hymns not included in hymnals. Maybe some kind of process or evaluation could be developed for that? I don't know... just a thought I had.

I agree
The recently published "Battle Hymn of the Pandemic" is worth including, I think. (published on Facebook) by Henry Lebedinsky, to SAMANTHRA
Hmm.
That seems like it is more of a parody of a hymn really.
Quite possibly
There are plenty of cases of one man's (or one tradition's) parody being another's piety, many of them documented in Hymnary.org's database. Just out of curiosity, though, which hymn do you think it's a parody of?
Hymn parody
Battle Hymn of the Republic for one. But since re-reading it, it doesn't sound as much like a parody. More like a pithy poem.
I suspected as much ;-)
The title is obviously a parody of Mrs. Howe's hymn, but the lyrics are not related, and the tune is in a quite different meter.
