What is the proper way to connect hymns whose later stanzas have become hymns in their own right? Personally I would like to have a way to automatically link them: so that the page, for example, "See the Lord of glory dying", would look like
See the Lord of glory dying
Author: Joseph Hart (1765)
Tune: LENA
Published in 65 hymnals
Text (Stanza 1): See When the chosen tribes debated
Audio files: MIDI
This gets a little complicated in this example, because some anonymous person (around 1800) started with this stanza from 1765 and wrote six more stanzas. Maybe a better way if there was a separate page where different versions could be compared line by line? Another complicated example is "Brightest and best of the sons of the morning" versus "Star in the East", apparently first written by Deodatus Dutton in The Christian Lyre, 1830.
