On the page for any particular hymn, all available page scans will be found near the bottom of the page, just before the list of hymn instances. Not all hymns listed here have page scans available. For example Newton's Amazing Grace has hundreds of scanned hymnal pages available, whereas Walton's Thine, Thine Forever has none yet.
Depending on your search, you may have to click on the link "tune authority" or "text authority" (oddly named IMHO) on your search result page. This will take you to the scanned pages. (Scroll to the bottom).
I've been trying to figure out how to get to the scanned page of a specific hymn in a specific hymnal (say 680, 'O God, our help' in EH1982). If you do a search and then click on the heart icon, it will take you to it, but it is not printable. So, you must click one of the aforementioned links and then look through pages and pages of scans to find it. Once you find it (having grown a bit older at this point), you can click on "high resolution image" and get a nice printout. But I'm hoping there is a better/faster way to get there. Anyone?
Awesome site, so I hate to complain. But hoping the problem is user input. ;-/
Meanwhile, I hope this might help answer your question.
To get a specific scanned page in a specific hymnal, in the URL type hymnary.org/hymn/hymnal id/#. So for #680 in EH1982 it would be hymnary.org/hymn/EH1982/680. However, #680 in EH1982 is on the same page as the tail end of #679 which is copyrighted, so #680 does not have a page scan available. To get to the high resolution image (say for #681), click on the image to get to the page and you will see a high resolution link at the bottom. click on the page number to get to the next page for the second part of the hymn.
