This is sometimes altered as "One is kind above all others":

The latter is a variant of the former. I almost made the fix myself, but on the latter authority page there are some additional resources, so I didn't want to muck up someone else's work in adding that data.
Both of these are an adaptation of John Newton's "One there is above all others." These should be kept separate from Newton's text, as the meter and the texts are substantially different.
