This PDF appears to be off by a century. The song is clearly Millerite, and 1844 (not 1744) was the year Miller aroused multitudes with his end-times prediction. Even if nothing further is known about Graham, dating this song to 1744 flies in the face of conceivability. 1844 is quite credible.

We have changed the date on our site & updated our PDF to reflect the first known date of publication, in Belden's "Christ in Song" (1900). If anyone finds an earlier date, please let us know.
