Decius

I just tried to merge Decius_N11 (why such a high number?) into Decius_N, but was stymied by the fact that the former spells the Christian name with a k, and the latter with a c. I think it's immaterial which is used for the authority (haven't researched it, but my guess is that depending on what language he was writing in and other factors, he himself may very well have used both forms), but I don't want to destroy the alternative spelling. In other words, if the records are merged under Nicolaus, and somebody comes along and tries to search for Nikolaus, (or vice versa), I don't want them to be told there is no such person in the database. Not sure what to do to make sure there's still a redirect.

I think since there are instances of both, the search mechanism will find either spelling and pull up the merged authority. Perhaps one of our programmers can confirm.
