521. Who Will Shine as the Stars?

1 As the pure glowing sky on a clear summer day,
When sweet fragrance is filling the air,
Shall the wise brightly shine in that land far away
As the firmament cloudless and fair.

Refrain:
They shall shine as the stars,
In that land of delight over there;
In that home of the blest,
Where no foe can molest,
Let me fly to my rest over there.

2 They that turn many souls unto righteousness here,
Who are toiling by day and by night,
Soon will shine as the stars evermore over there,
And shall reap their reward with delight. [Refrain]

3 As we part here on earth with our loved ones at home,
Weeping eyes, aching hearts, though we leave,
For the Master we’ll work ere the long night shall come,
Then a crown from His hand we’ll receive. [Refrain]
