1 We are Willing Workers for our Lord and King,
Happy in His service we His praises sing;
He our blessed Saviour from on high did bring
Terms for our salvation, let hosannas ring.
Refrain:
Working ev’ry day,
Telling burden’d sinners who are far astray
That the blood of Jesus washes sin away,
Oh, what joy it brings us all along the way!
2 Win One is our motto from the worldly throng
That is moving blindly in the path of wrong;
Satan does deceive them by temptations strong,
Strewing transient pleasures all their course along. [Refrain]
3 Join us then, we pray you, there is much to do,
Harvest fields are waiting, laborers are few;
Workmen now are needed who are brave and true,
Volunteer, my brother, Christ is calling you. [Refrain]
4 Summer soon is ended, time for reaping past,
Hasten then to garner, souls are dying fast;
Into this great harvest if our lives be cast,
Well done, faithful servants, we will hear at last. [Refrain]
