127. The Coming Glory

1 A glorious place, O Lord, with Thee,
Reserved in heav’n awaits for me;
It’s matchless glories I shall see,
When the coming glory is revealed.

From on high; from on high;
When the King in vict’ry takes the field,
Ev’ry nation, tongue and people to His pow’r shall yield,
By and bye, bye and bye.

2 A glorious hope before us lies,
With faithful hearts and watchful eyes,
We view the heights to which we rise,
When the coming glory is revealed. [Refrain]

3 Our present weight of stress and care
Is nothing worthy to compare
With that of glory we shall share,
When the coming glory is revealed. [Refrain]

4 No eye hath seen, no ear hath heard,
Nor is it known by pen or word,
God’s gifts of love on us conferred,
