1 Enter in, O Holy Spirit,
Take up thine abiding place;
Let me now through grace inherit,
All the riches of thy grace.

Blessed Spirit! Holy Spirit!
Come and claim thy right of way!

In my heart abide alway.

2 Take away all unbelieving,
From all sin and self set free;
Cleanse and purify thy temple,
Then O come and dwell in me. [Refrain]

3 May I be an emptied vessel,
Yet be full of love divine,
May my will and thoughts and actions
Be in sweet accord with thine. [Refrain]

4 I am waiting, all surrendered;
I am trusting in thy grace,
While I come with love and reverence,
Show me, Lord, thy smiling face. [Refrain]

5 Thou has promised grace and glory,
And, it is begun, I know,
For the spirit now bears witness
