95. Let Us Work

1 On the mount exalted or in valley low,
In the Master’s service sweet it is to go,
Telling unto others wheresoe’er they be,
Of Jesus and his mercy full and free.

Let us work and watch and pray,
For the seed that we are sowing cannot die,

For the dawning of the harvest day is nigh.

2 Thro’ the night of weeping looking to the light,
Of a glorious morrow dawning clear and bright,
When the golden sunshine o’er the hills will rise,

3 Time is passing onward; there is much to do;
Shall the sun be setting ere our work is through?
Labor ev’ry moment ere the shadows fall,
