22. Fountain Ever Flowing

1 Come, ye who are thirsty, Christ is at the well;
He will give you water all your thirst to quell;
Wait ye then no longer, He will welcome all;
Hasten to the fountain at the Savior’s call.

Refrain:
Fountain ever flowing, glad and free,
It was opened wide for you and me;
Drink its living waters, thirst no more,
But have a life and happiness forevermore.

2 Deep the well salvation, deep and free for you;
Healing are its waters, cleansing thro’ and thro’;
At the springing fountain drink and thirst no more,
Many have been saved by drinking here before. [Refrain]

3 Hasten to the waters lest you be too late;
Do not fail to enter mercy’s open gate;
Should you tarry longer yours may be the woe
Of the souls who heedless past the fountain go. [Refrain]
