Now Public Domain. Stanza 1 in Walker is stanza four of Joseph Swain's "O thou, in whose presence my soul takes delight" (1791). Stanza 2 and 3 in Walker are Swain's stanzas 1 and 2. Stanza 4 in Walker is four new lines followed by the first four lines of Swain's stanza 3. Walker's stanzas 5 and 6 are completely new. Walker's stanza 7 is four new lines followed by the last four lines of Swain's stanza 6. The author of the new lines is unknown. |
