ENGLISH -
1 So far beyond our earthly home
the Lord now sits in heaven's span;
and I am bound, poor as I am,
to reach that place, that blessed land.
Refrain:
Oh, when I taste the gift of freedom,
Oh, when the gates of heaven open,
then I will greet my Lord and Savior —
when I enter Jerusalem.
2 So far beyond there is a land
where flowers breathe their fragrant breath,
and each new day is rich and full.
There are no tears, there is no death. [Refrain]
