1 Brother, whence art thou now steering?
On to rocks and on to reefs?
Or up to the port of glory,
There upon the shore of peace?

T’ward the blest eternal shore?
Take the Saviour as your pilot,
He will leave you never more.

2 Take the Saviour as your pilot,
He will guide you o’er the shoal,

3 Storms may threaten oft to wreck you,
And the port seem hid from view;
Put your trust in Christ our Saviour,
