Text: | Say “Yes” to Jesus Now |
Author: | Mrs. M. B. Wingate |
Tune: | [O wanderer, dost thou hear] |
Composer: | Ira D. Sankey |
1 O wand’rer, dost thou hear
The still small voice within—
A gentle whisper, low and clear,
Reproving thee of sin?
It is the Saviour’s voice,
So tender, loving, mild;
O hasten now, make Him thy choice,
This hour become His child.
Refrain:
Say “Yes” to Jesus now,
And on His name believe;
Trust wholly in the precious blood,
And life thou shalt receive.
2 O wand’rer, come today,
The Spirit draws thee still;
And canst thou turn from Him away,
And treat His love so ill?
The Saviour waiting stands,
With tender love-lit face;
Beseeching thee with outstretched hands,
Accept His matchless grace. [Refrain]
3 A joy forever new,
A trust that knows no fear,
A service ever grand and true,
For thee is waiting here;
Eternal life above,
In mansions bright and fair,
A home of peace and endless love,
Will be thy portion there. [Refrain]
