LXIX. Dismission

1 In vain Apollo's silver tongue,
And Paul's with strains profound,
Diffuse among the listening throng,
The Gospel's glad'ning sound.

2 JESUS, the work is wholly thine,
To form the heart anew,
Now let thy sovereign grace divine
Each stubborn soul renew.
