201. He’s Coming in Glory

1 Our Lord shall come to earth again
Just as He said He would, some day
In kingly glory come again,
To catch His Bride away.

Refrain:
He’s coming again in glory to gather His own,
In rapture we’ll go with Him to His white throne,
He’s coming again in glory to gather His own,
With joy we’ll meet Him in the air,
And be carried home.

2 The pure in heart shall happy be,
All earthly cares forever past,
From pain and death and sorrow free,
In peace to dwell at last. [Refrain]

3 Just live each moment of the day,
As if you knew ‘twould be the last,
Be meek and humble, watch and pray,
And to His hand hold fast. [Refrain]

4 The day, the hour there’s no one knows,
But signs He gave us show He’s near,
The gospel age draws to a close,
The Lord will soon appear. [Refrain]
